Head estimator position with a reputable NZ civil contractor Large Civil Structures Projects, value up to $100M
Tauranga based, with projects spread throughout the nation We have been requested to source a Senior/ Chief Estimators
for a very well respected civils construction company. Currently the civils industry is still very strong throughout New Zealand
and with more projects coming on line, they need to be won. Therefore we are searching for Senior/ Chief Estimators to join
the Tauranga team. You will be at the forefront of working for an established company. As such they have projects throughout
New Zealand. You will be working on pricing civil structures projects. $50 - $100M value, as well as smaller structures project.
Type of projects will include pre cast concrete works, bridges, wharfs, marinas, treatment plants, water structures, etc.  
  You will need to have a strong background in estimation and be comfortable working on projects in the multi millions.
As part of your role you will be heavily involved in estimating and preparing tenders, dealing with sub contractors, cost
control/reporting, contract administration and consultant liaison. This is a superb contractor that has an impressive history
in the civil construction environment. Therefore you will need to have solid civils experience, particularly with civil
structures projects , an appropriate qualification, an ability to work on complicated tenders successfully, can operate well
under time pressure, a strong eye for detail and an inherent ability and self drive to win. This is a fantastic opportunity
